Attractions

What are the park’s main attractions?

While the imposing rock towers that give the park its name, Torres del Paine, are among the most photographed in the world, there are also rivers, lakes, native fauna, and other peaks to explore. These include Lake Grey and its massive glacier, the breathtaking Francés Valley, Los Cuernos and its scenic viewpoints, Salto Grande waterfall, and the dramatic hanging bridges. The towers of Torres del Paine can be seen from several viewpoints, but the main one is Base Torres, which can be reached by a nine-kilometer hike from Las Torres Reserve.

You can enjoy activities such as horseback riding, sailing, ice hiking, climbing and, of course, hiking on a variety of trails such as Base Torres, Francés Valley, Lake Grey, the W, and the O (also known as Paine Circuit), among others.
